FOUR SEASONS TERRA LAGO ROADRUNNER | AUGUST 2026 5 By Steve Hartje e Safety Committee is an advisory committee to the HOA Board of Directors. e committee meets once a month and discusses issues pertaining to the safety and security of the Four Seasons Terra Lago community. All proposals made by the safety committee must be approved by the Board of Directors. e current chair is Gerry Bourret. Due to the continuing issues with vehicles driving across the double yellow lines to get to the Gate House, the Safety Committee will be presenting the Board with a proposal to increase the double yellow lines to an additional 100 feet west to the end of the planter boxes on Terra Lago Parkway and additional double yellow lines extending at a curve from the start of the cobblestone driveway east to the beginning of the Gate House. In addition, the committee is recommending placing large yellow bot dots in the middle of the double yellow lines to further discourage driving over the lines to get to the Gate House. Along with this project, better signage at the front gate is being proposed to assist residents and visitors entering the property. Also, as proposed several months ago, the rear gate will become a resident only gate and all visitors including guests, vendors, delivery drivers and contractors must enter through the front gate and check in with the gate attendant. e Board has asked the Safety Committee to assess the need for additional cameras in and around the Lodge and other public areas like parking lots. e Safety Committee will be proposing additional cameras to be placed inside the Lodge to cover all ingress and egress points. e Safety Committee feels additional cameras are needed due to the Lodge now being available 24 hours a day. e cameras will help in identifying people entering the Lodge who do not belong there. e additional cameras will also help with the safety and security of all residents who use the Lodge facilities. e Safety Committee is considering options to help alleviate vehicles driving too fast within the community. ey are looking into a mobile digital speed monitoring system with the potential of adding a camera to identify violators. If you have any safety concerns or suggestions to the Safety Committee, please contact Gerry Bourret at gbourret42@proton.me. e Safety Committee currently has two openings. To apply, please contact the Lodge. ank you. Safety Committee
