FIREWISE Due to the size of our community, we had to split the community into two sections. The dividing line for these two sections is the Edison easement that cuts through east to west. We then worked and submitted to have the South Section become Firewise Certified first. The good news is that it was approved in early July! We have also submitted now for the North Section to be Firewise Certified. We have updates on the website, which can be found at fourseasonsbeaumont.org/firewise. CANINE CORRAL The Canine Corral is open for all residents and their furry friends! There's no fob, paperwork, or payments that are needed to access the dog park. Please make sure that you adhere to the posted rules, which are in the entrance and then on both sides of the canine corral at the shade structures. FOB REPLACEMENT The fobs that are used when owners enter the facilities and open the pool gates are 20 years old. The manufacturer is now out of business and replacement fobs cannot be purchased nor can we repair readers that are broken or damaged, of which we have two right now. As of the date of writing this article, we anticipate having the new system go live on Aug. 1. Please check the website (https://www.fourseasonsbeaumont.org/maintenance-updates/) for updates about the change out of the system. We will also have updates on the Daily Report. JUNE DOLLARS AND CENTS At the June Board meeting, the following projects and bids were approved. Please note in parentheses is the Committee that generated the proposal and then stating either an Operational expense which comes from this year's dues, or a Reserve expense. • Plant Replacements from 4/24 Walk - $1,845 (Landscape/ Operational) • Plant Replacements from 5/8 Walk - $8,501 (Landscape/Park West Credit) • Edison Easement Slope Plant Replacement - $7,700 (Landscape/ Operational) DAILY REPORT If you're not receiving Four Seasons Beaumont daily emails/Activities Blasts, email issues@fourseasonsbeaumont. org to have your email added to the list of recipients. Having your email on the list is especially important in order to receive warnings and updates related to emergencies in our area (example: June 2026 Shore Fire). REMINDERS A reminder I give at each Open Session Board Meeting is to slow down. Once you are home behind the gates, speeding or not stopping at stop signs will only "save" you a few seconds of time. Speed limits are 30 mph on the Circle, 25 mph on all side streets, and 15 mph in parking lots. Slow down and drive responsibly. Also, use the sidewalks if you're a pedestrian and wear white or reflective clothing when it's dark outside. Make sure to fob-in each and every time you enter a facility. One, it's the rule, and two, team members rotate through the different facilities and the person at the desk when you return might not be the one who was there originally and saw you fob-in the first time.
