FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | AUGUST 2026 7 ACTIVITIES DIRECTOR'S REPORT By Cindy Graves It's August and the Performing Arts Club is back at it again! This time with two adorable shows called, Peter Pan in 30 Minutes and Fraiser Crane's Nightmare Inn. Free tickets will be available at The Lodge for pick up, so stay tuned to the Activities Blast to see when you should pick them up. There are two showings (of both shows) — one on Friday, Aug. 7 and one on Saturday, Aug. 8 at 6 pm in The Lodge Ballroom. Feel free to pick up tickets for the night that best suits your schedule. On Friday, Aug. 14, Karen Belcher will host her fun and wonderful "Name That Tune" game, animal style, on behalf of Tails and Trails. It starts at 6 pm in the Ballroom and as you know, you better get there early if you want to get a seat. These games have been super popular! No tickets are required and there is no fee for admittance. It's summer and there's no better way to do Karaoke in August than having "Pooleyoke!" Yes, that's right, Dave Rohrbacker is helping Karen Belcher this month with hosting at the pool. Bring your coolest clothes, a cocktail in a plastic cup, and your favorite song to sing. The fun starts on Saturday, Aug. 15 at 5 pm. Bring a friend; there's no cost to come! Guess what else is happening on Saturday, Aug. 15? The Bistro will celebrate their second anniversary here at Four Seasons. They'll serve free cupcakes and will have special dinner offers; they'd love it if you'd join them on their special day. Be sure to let Paulina and Juan know how much we appreciate what they do for the neighborhood! We're so glad they have been faithfully feeding us for two years! The Summer Loggia Dance Party/Concert will showcase the great vibes and musicianship of the MLC Band. Everyone loves the variety of music they play, being sure to please everyone's tastes. Doors open on Saturday, Aug. 22 at 5:30 pm and the music starts at 6 pm. The Bistro is planning to offer a pre-sale ticket dinner that will go with our summer dance. Stay tuned to find out what they'll be serving, it's going to be tasty. Next, Rob Kelman, art instructor extraordinaire, will hold another exciting Wine and Paint Time Party on Friday, Aug. 28 at 6 to 8 pm. The cost for supplies is only $25. Reservations are required so call Rob at (951) 616-4111. Our next Amphitheater Concert on Sunday, Aug. 30 is The Police Academy which obviously is a Police Tribute Band. This band cranks the audience up with their recognizable hits and toe-tapping music, I think you're going to love them; I know I do. The Bistro will grill up their famous hot dogs and hamburgers from 5:30 to 7 pm when the concert starts. Once again, we will be back to the same old Saturday line-up to place your chairs after 6 pm. We will also put up the big screen for folks who would rather watch on the green common area. Dancing is allowed over there, just not in the Amphitheater proper. I can't believe the summer is nearly gone! Be sure to have as much fun as you can while the summer lasts. Love you and see you around The Lodge.
