Classic Film Group
Join us on
Tuesday, Aug. 4 in
e Lodge eater
at 6 pm as we
present a classic
thriller from golden
age of cinema —
e Hound of the
Baskervilles. It is
based on a classic
Sherlock Holmes
novel by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle,
featuring Sherlock Holmes (Basil
Rathbone ) and Dr. Watson (Nigel
Bruce) as they face the unthinkable. "A terrifying excursion
into the supernatural!" e most famous line associated with
Sherlock Holmes is "Elementary, my dear Watson," but it is
actually a misquote. Holmes says "Elementary" and "my dear
Watson" separately.

winner for best picture All About Eve. "Fasten
your seat belts, it's going to be a bumpy
night!" It's the only lm in Oscar history to
receive four female acting nominations (Davis

and lost. e lm stars Bette

herself into Channing's life,
ultimately threatening Channing's
