66 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | AUGUST 2026 The summer is heating up and so is the Cornhole Group. We enjoy our shady spot on the lawn behind The Lodge, every Tuesday night at 5 pm. We are an easy, outdoor sport and weather permitting, we are there. If it is warmer than 60° and cooler than 95°, we are there to set you up with a teammate and get the games started. Bring a chair and enjoy a night of fun games, conversation, and laughs. No experience necessary. Any questions, please text Pat Barry at (951) 388-0441. ~ Pat Barry Beaumont Baggers Cornhole Group In this article, I want to write about taking your wife or girlfriend fishing with you. I used to take my wife fishing with me all the time. She does not want to go with me anymore because she says the fish feel pain when we hook them. This statement is coming from a woman who loves to eat fish. In fact, she will eat head and all. I have had some of my friends talk to her and told her that the fish do not really feel pain like humans do. Maybe she will start going with me again. Only time will tell. If you take a lady fishing with you who has never fished before, please be advised that you will not be fishing yourself. You will be busy baiting the hook, taking the fish off the hook, casting the line, unhooking snags, and making sure she is safe at all times. Many a time I have kept the ladies from slipping on the rocks and falling into the water. I have also kept them from getting bit by snakes when walking to the fishing spots. With all that said, I really loved to take my wife and her lady friend fishing. The feeling you get when she is screaming while reeling in a fish is amazing. I did not put a fishing picture this time in the Breeze. To be truthful, the last picture of the fish that was in the Breeze was caught by my wife. That was really nice of her to let me hold the fish while she was taking the picture of the fish she caught. I will always remember the adventures I had while fishing with my wife. Tight lines to all my fishing friends and remember to always invite your wife or girlfriend to go fishing. I am calling all Four Seasons residents who can play land volleyball. I know a lot of people go on vacation during this time, also it's still warm by 5 pm, so I'd like to switch our play time to 6 pm on Tuesday only, on The Summit grassy area.
