4 | Four Seasons Hemet Herald | AUGUST 2026 | Like sands through the hourglass, so are the days of our lives. It seems that while we're not paying attention, time slips through our fingers at a pace I just can't keep up with. I can hardly believe it's already August! Yet there are moments during the day when I could swear the sand has stopped completely. I'm sure many of you remember feeling that way during your working years — some days seemed to f ly by, while others felt as though time stood still. No matter how quickly the days pass, August is filled with wonderful opportunities to make lasting memories with friends and neighbors. Be sure to join us for some of our favorite summer events, including Music on the Plaza, Movies Under the Stars, The Social Committee's Sock Hop, and Hot Summer Night Latin Dance. If you've been thinking about learning a valuable life skill, the EPC will also be hosting a CPR Training this month. It's a great opportunity to gain confidence while learning something that could make a real difference. As we enjoy these final weeks of summer, my advice is simple: find a cool place to relax, spend time with friends, try something new, and make every grain of sand count.
