4 TERRAMOR BEYOND THE GATES | FALL 2026 It's hard to believe how quickly summer has come and gone. As we head into fall, football season is underway, children are back in school, and our team is busy planning exciting seasonal activities and events for the community. I'd like to take a moment to thank everyone who participated in this year's Board election. We were fortunate to have several residents step forward as candidates, creating meaningful opportunities for engagement throughout the election process. I appreciate the time, energy, and dedication each candidate invested in serving our community. This year, we received 457 ballots, exceeding the required quorum of 367. We also introduced an independent Inspector of Elections to oversee election materials and ballot counting. The process was efficient, accurate, and helped Election Day run smoothly. While there are always opportunities to improve, the lessons learned will help us continue to enhance the process in future elections. Most importantly, thank you to all residents who voted, attended candidate events, ran for the Board, or simply stayed informed. Your participation helps make Terramor a stronger and more connected community. As the newly elected Board begins onboarding and setting goals for the year ahead, staff is excited to support their priorities and initiatives. We are also preparing for the transition to monthly Board meetings, which will now be held on the fourth Tuesday of each month. This new schedule will help streamline decision- making, expedite project approvals, and provide more timely access to meeting minutes and financial reports. As we approach the holiday season, I encourage everyone to remain safe and vigilant, particularly during times when opportunities for crime may increase. Just as importantly, let's continue to show kindness and consideration toward our neighbors and embrace the spirit of the season.
