6 TERRAMOR BEYOND THE GATES | FALL 2026 Community - Creating Places to Gather, Play, Relax, and Connect Terramor is more than a collection of homes - it is a community shaped by places where neighbors greet one another, children play, families gather, and residents enjoy the natural beauty around us. The Terramor Community Outdoor Beautification Project brings fresh energy and care to our cherished outdoor spaces at the Commons Park, eight Pocket Parks & three Cul-de-Sac areas. At its heart, the project is about creating places to move, play, and gather. This project began at the HOA Board's request and is led by Terramor HRC members Hydee Hall and Mike Baum. A oughtful, Phased Vision After touring the community's outdoor spaces, the HRC recommended a phased plan to make them more useful, welcoming, and enjoyable, beginning with maintenance and aesthetic improvements in spring 2026 and continuing enhancements through spring 2028. Early priorities include cleaner, more welcoming spaces through bird spikes, Gazebo cleaning and repainting, refreshed "No Smoking" signs, and dog-waste stations where needed. Future enhancements may add shade, benches, tables, Adirondack chairs, and other amenities. As phases move forward, the Board can weigh priorities and invest thoughtfully in outdoor spaces residents use and enjoy. Giving Each Park Its Own Sense of Place Inspired by nearby streets, landmarks, and special features, the HRC recommended names that ref lect Terramor's character and charm. These names give each space its own identity, strengthen our sense of community, improve wayfinding, and support clearer emergency identification. The Board-approved names and their locations are: • Altis Gazebo Park (at Rimstone Avenue in Altis) • Arch Hill Park (at Arch Hill Drive and Phoebe Drive) • Everly Park (at Everly Drive and Selwood Drive in Skyview) • Evesong Park (at Evesong Drive and Trailwood Court) • Community Garden Park (next to the Community Garden) • Veranda Kids' Grove (near The Veranda and Front Gate) • Sundrop Park (by Temescal Hills Drive and Sundrop Drive/ Trailwood Court) • Temescal Lookout (at the top of Temescal Hills Drive, overlooking the water tower) We'd Love to Hear Your Ideas Ultimately, the Terramor Community Outdoor Beautification Project is about creating places where everyday moments can become lasting community memories. As our community continues to thrive, these outdoor spaces will become the backdrop for morning walks, children's adventures, friendly conversations, neighborhood gatherings, and peaceful pauses overlooking the surrounding landscape. Residents who already enjoy our outdoor spaces may have the best ideas for their future. Please share suggestions through an HRC Request Form in the Terramor App. Ideas for seating, shade, landscaping, gathering areas, play features, or other improvements can guide future phases and help create welcoming spaces to gather, play, relax, and connect.
