FOUR SEASONS AT TERRA LAGO ROADRUNNER | NOVEMBER 2026 3 From the General Manager By Lynne Cesario It is hard to believe Thanksgiving is already here. This time of year seems to arrive quickly, and before we know it, the holidays are upon us. Between shopping, decorating, cooking, entertaining, and trying to keep up with everything else, it is easy to get caught up in the busy part of the season and forget to slow down and enjoy it. Thanksgiving is a good reminder to do just that. There is something special about this holiday. It does not have to be complicated. It can be a table full of family and friends, a favorite dish that makes an appearance every year, a football game on the TV, or simply sitting down and enjoying a conversation without looking at the clock. For many of us, some of our favorite holiday memories are not necessarily the big events. They are the little moments we remember years later, laughing around the dinner table, watching football together, sharing a recipe, catching up with someone we have not seen in a while, or enjoying the familiar traditions that make this time of year feel special. Thanksgiving is also a wonderful time to think about our neighbors and the community we share. A friendly hello, a helping hand, checking in on someone, or simply taking a moment to be kind can mean more than we realize. We never really know what someone else may be going through, and sometimes a small gesture can make someone's day a little brighter. This Thanksgiving, may we take time to enjoy the people around us, appreciate the little things, and make memories that carry with us long after the holiday is over. As your General Manager, I am thankful to be part of this community and for the many people who help make it such a special place to live. Our Board of Directors, committees, staff, volunteers, and residents all play an important part in our community. While we may not always agree on everything, we share a common goal of making our community the best it can be. A Season of anksgiving By Maria Miller-Carelock The Sergeant at Arms is a supporting role on the HOA Board that helps promote order, organization, and respectful participation during Board meetings and community activities. While the position may have different responsibilities depending on our governing documents and Board policies, the overall purpose is to help Board business run smoothly and ensure meetings remain productive and welcoming for everyone. As your HOA Sergeant at Arms, my responsibilities include: • Helping maintain order and decorum during Board meetings. • Assisting the Board president with meeting procedures when requested. • Helping ensure meetings follow established rules and procedures. • Supporting the Board in creating a respectful environment for homeowners to participate. • Assisting with meeting logistics and other Board activities as needed. • Helping welcome homeowners and visitors to Board meetings and community events. • Working cooperatively with other Board members to support the effective operation of our HOA. • Serving as a resource for maintaining a safe, organized, and respectful meeting environment. Every Board position contributes to the success of our community. The Sergeant at Arms role provides an additional layer of organization, consistency, and support that allows the Board to focus on important community matters. A well-organized meeting allows homeowners to listen, ask questions, share concerns, and better understand the decisions affecting our neighborhood. My goal is to help create an environment where everyone feels heard, respected, and welcome to participate. Having an active Sergeant at Arms can help our HOA: • Keep Board meetings organized and productive. • Encourage respectful communication. • Support consistent meeting procedures. • Improve the overall meeting experience for homeowners. • Assist Board members with logistical and procedural needs. • Strengthen communication and cooperation within our community. Serving on the HOA Board is ultimately about serving our neighbors and our community. I am grateful for the opportunity to contribute and continuously look forward to working with the Board and homeowners. Sergeant at Arms Message
