Creative Drawing & Sketching Class Are you in need of relaxation? A beginner at drawing? An experienced artist? Not able to draw a straight line? The answer for you is the Drawing & Sketching class held twice a week, at NO CHARGE, for your convenience. We have approximately 20 students between the two classes now. Many started with no experience or last picked up a pencil to draw over 30 years ago. Their results have been remarkable, creating pictures good enough to frame and hang in their homes. Those with experience, have all learned from the classes and have improved their skills. The instructor works with other media (colored paper and pencils) with the more advanced students. Classes are Mondays, 10 am to 12 pm and/or Wednesdays, 6 to 8 pm. If interested in joining, please call the instructor, Rob Kelman (951) 992-9156 (home) or (602) 571-0414 (cell) to get information on supplies. Otherwise, just drop by one of the classes and sit through it to see if it is for you. Looking forward to seeing new faces in class. ~ Rob Kelman Work by the Artist of the Month: Beverly Lunetta Women Celebrating Rainbow Group America At the Club Fair, we had several people sign up for our e-mail meeting reminders and discussion groups. Join us Thursday, Sept. 26, in the Lodge Ballroom from 7 to 8:30 pm. We review our founding history to current women's experiences. Our discussions are very enlightening and leave us wanting more. ~ Lynette Simonson Are you interested in a group which will focus on the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered concerns, interests, cultural and social aspects of the community? The group will meet once a week at a day and time to be arranged. Friends are welcome. If you are interested, contact me at (951) 856-6246, or e-mail bamerton@alumni.ucla.edu. You may also sign-up on the interest group section at the Lodge. ~ Barbara Kwiatkowska Life Guide Bible Study In June, we concluded our study of the series in the book of Peter on "How to Live Life God's Way." We were challenged in this series as we discussed what kind of lives we should live in response to all the good things that God has done for us. Our next event is a pot luck dinner on Sept. 17 at 6 pm. Our Study Group will resume after our summer break on Sept. 24, at 7 pm. We meet Tuesday evenings in the Lodge Ballroom from 7 to 8 pm. Our club provides an opportunity to meet others in the Four Seasons community, and a chance to encourage and strengthen one another in our walk of faith. Each lesson is self-contained and everyone is welcome. Info., Don Cummings, (951) 572-5329. ~ Don Cummings CLUBS & GROUPS | FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | SEPTEMBER 2013 27
