computer club library advisory comm. We're on summer schedule, and meet once a month. All Sun Lakers are welcome at our meeting (date below) 1 pm in the Main Clubhouse Multipurpose Room. Prizes are given away at each meeting. Visit our website at computerclubatsunlakes.org for meeting times, activities, programs, handouts and membership applications. Get extra tickets for the prize drawing there also. Come and see the new Windows 8 computer we have installed. Upcoming Programs (Programs presented by Jerry Munnelly): Sept. 19: Computer graphics: What makes the monitor work? What are different video formats you are watching? We want you! We're looking for two new committee members for the upcoming year. Two of our members have terms that are expiring. This is a great committee; previous library experience is not necessary. Computer experience is helpful, especially a familiarity with Microsoft Office. You may pick up an application at the front desk and if you have any questions, please contact Ann Reese at 845-3775. We're also looking for new library volunteers. If you would like tot join our dedicated group, please call Peggy Inman at 845-8609. She will be happy to place you on our list. Should you have a large number of books to donate please contact Ann Reese at 845-3775; she will then be able to coordinate our volunteers to ensure we can shelve the books promptly. Thanks again to everyone who has continued to donate their gently used books to our three libraries. All of the donations are appreciated; especially the large print editions. It seems we can use more and more of these all the time. We are also requesting books published after 2003. Thank you. Our book for this month is the suspenseful "The Light in the Ruins," by Chris Bohjalian. Investigator Serefina Bettini fought against Nazi sympathizers in her native Tuscany; after the war, she must find out who is killing off a noble Italian family. That's when the past catches up with her. A picturesque page turner. sun lakes follies The Follies are coming! "And That's The Way It Was" Thurs., Oct. 3 through Sun., Oct. 6..
