Chef 's Corner By Randy Balt Herbed Pork Chops with Maple-Orange Brussel Sprouts This can be your savory weeknight supper. It's fairly easy to prepare and the results are worth it. The combination of seasoned pork chops with tasty Brussels sprouts goes together perfectly. I think you'll like it. Herbed Pork Chops Servings: 4 • Preparation Time: 15 min. Cook Time: 8 min. • Total Time: 23 min. Ingredients 4 (6 oz.) bone-in center-cut pork chops, ½ inch thick Cooking spray 1 Tbsp. olive oil 2 Tbsp. chopped fresh rosemary 2 Tbsp. chopped fresh thyme 2 Tbsp. chopped fresh oregano ¼ tsp. salt ¼ tsp. freshly ground black pepper 2 tsp. minced garlic 1½ tsp. cornstarch ½ cup water Maple-Orange Brussel Sprouts Servings: 4 • Preparation Time: 8 min. Cook Time: 8 min. • Total Time: 16 min. Ingredients 1 navel orange 2 Tbsp. maple syrup ¼ tsp. salt ¼ tsp. freshly ground black pepper 2 tsp. olive oil 4 ½ cups trimmed Brussels sprouts, halved ¼ cup coarsely chopped pecans Directions 1. Grate rind and squeeze juice from orange to measure ½ tsp. rind and 2 Tbsp. juice. Combine rind, juice, syrup, salt, and pepper. Directions 2. Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet over 1.
