Manager's Update By Lisa Lynn, General Manager At the Open Session Board meeting held on Thursday, Sept. 12, the Board of Directors approved the following committee recommendations: • Communications proposal to upgrade the website features • Landscape proposal for turf improvements along Highland Springs Road common area • Landscape proposal for Lodge planter improvements • Rec Center North proposal for Architectural design plans for the RCN facility The Board of Directors reviewed and acted upon the following business matters: • August 2013 minutes – approved • July 2013 unaudited Financial statement – reviewed • Approved the Disclosures and Statements for the Annual mailing • Approved a vendor proposal for Bocce Court maintenance • Approved upgrade for the Heating Ventalation Air Condtioning units • Approved staff uniform proposal • Approved the vendor proposal for traffic spike repairs 8 Management reported to the Board the completion of the following items: • Removal and replacement of five trees along Four Seasons Circle • Lodge lighting circuit upgrades • Annual inspection • Architecual Review Commitee rule for front patio setbacks sent out to membership Management reported that 35 violation letters were sent out during August • Six for architectural items • Four for trash containers • 19 for maintenance • Two for hoses • Three for parking • One for nuisance The Board of Directors suspended facility privileges for one member for delinquent dues, bringing the total for suspended privileges to nine current members. There were 24 accounts with balances over 90 days past due. The Board meeting is on the second Thursday of the month, with the Executive Session at 9 am in the Lodge Conference Room and the Open Session at 1 pm in the Lodge Ballroom. FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | OCTOBER 2013 | community News We are pleased to introduce our newest staff member, Fabiana Spinelli, who joins us as the Executive Assistant with oversight of the Architectural and Landscape duties. Affirmation of occupancy status – age verification: Each resident and owner will be receiving a request from the association at the request of the Board of Directors to verify their age and occupancy status. These requests are being sent out in batches so if you have not received one but another member has, please understand that you will be receiving yours in the near future. All owners and tenants will receive the request. If the property is occupied by a tenant, the owner may state the property is tenant occupied and return the form. The tenant/resident should complete their form with the appropriate age information on the form. Please remember to sign the form. Your cooperation in returning this information is appreciated.
