The 8-Ball Club
In memoriam: We lost a great and
faithful member of our team and a good
friend in September. Gordon Boucher
has gone on to his greater rewards but
we will miss him tremendously. We love
you Gordon, Vaya con Dios, farewell my
friend.
In 8-Ball in-house tournament
action, Kenny Payne went into the finals
undefeated against OC (Hector O'Campo).
In a field of eight players, Kenny remained
undefeated and took the monthly honors.
Although we are the 8-Ball Club, we
nonetheless play in a monthly 9-Ball
Gordon Boucher
40
in-house tournament. This month Ray
Windhorn and Dewey Allen fought to the
finish. Dewey being undefeated going into
the finals only had to win once to clinch
the title and Ray won the first game. The
match was on now and despite his best
effort, Ray was defeated and Dewey took
the monthly championship.
Congratulations to Kenny Payne and
Dewey Allen, the monthly champions.
We have a great group of members
and we are also friends who get together
and play the games we love. We practice
together at 7 pm on first and third
