Tree L ighting The San Gorgonio Memorial Hospital invites you to their Annual Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony on Wed., Dec. 4, from 5 to 7 pm. The event will be held in front of the new Emergency Department and Intensive Care Unit. Hot chocolate, coffee, cookies and candy canes will be served. They will also be accepting new, unwrapped gifts for the Toys for Tots program. SGMH is located at 600 N. Highland Springs Ave., Banning, CA 92220. Winterfest The Beaumont-Cherry Valley Recreation and Park District is pleased to announce the 21st Annual Winterfest Celebration on Fri., Dec. 6, from 4 to 9 pm and Sat., Dec. 7, from 2 to 8 pm at the Cherry Valley Grange 10478 Beaumont Ave., Cherry Valley. There is a $3 per person admission fee, children age 3 and under are free. There will be a tree lighting ceremony at 5 pm on Fri., Dec. 6. The large Deador tree on the corner of Beaumont Ave. and Cherry Valley Blvd. will be lit for the holiday season. Winterfest presents plenty of vendors featuring hand crafted items, jewelry, toys and other specialty items, as well as food vendors. The two evenings will be full of excitement, including a snow hill, entertainment, hayrides, fire truck rides from Fire Memories, bounce house, games with Church for Family and of course Santa and Mrs. Claus. This year's entertainment will include BHS Jazz Band, Mt. View Concert Choir, San G Jazz Band, Music & Voice, Angel Zoske, Shozen Martial Arts, Zumba, Dance Spectrum, Music Lab, Friday night - Critically Disturbed and Saturday night – Crisis.
