Cars have changed. So have traffic rules, driving conditions, and the roads you travel
every day. Even the most experienced drivers can benefit from brushing up on their
driving skills. By taking the AARP Smart Driver course you'll learn the current rules
of the road, defensive driving techniques, and how to operate your vehicle more safely
in today's increasingly challenging driving environment.
After taking the course, you may even be eligible for a discount on your car insurance!
(Participants should consult their auto insurance agent for details). An AARP Smart
Driver course will take place on Tues., Feb. 25, 12:30 to 4:30 pm and Thurs., Feb. 27,
12:30 to 4:30 pm at the South Clubhouse. You must attend both sessions to qualify for
the certificate. The classroom course costs $15 for AARP members and $20 for nonmembers. Space is limited, so register early at the Main Clubhouse starting Feb. 1.
Master Architectural Committee
With so many homeowners in our community we would remind them that they
must get approval from the MAC before making any exterior changes or improvements.
Do not commit to a start date for any improvement until you have received approval,
as the process can take up to 60 days. Making changes or improvement to the exterior
without approval may include required modification or removal of your improvement,
or a possible fine.
The MAC wishes to thank all homeowners for the good job they have done this past
year improving properties and our community. Beginning the new year, we will meet
the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month.
