32 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | FEBRUARY 2014 | CLUBS & GROUPS You never know when you just might be in the right place at the right time, as some diners found out while eating at the Bistro just before Christmas. Just like spontaneous combustion, several members of our choir, under the direction of Barbara Wasco, decided to create a "flash mob" of sorts. On cue, those involved started dancing and singing Christmas carols while at the same time shaking their keys and jingling bells of accompaniment. Not only did the diners seem to enjoy our raucousness, but I can concur that the singers had great fun doing it. So, in the future, if you see a group from the choir sitting around, wait and see… you just might be in for a surprise. Speaking of surprises, wait until we start to roll out our long list of entertaining evenings for your delight. Due to the popularity of the Ballroom, most of our events will take place on Friday evenings, when the Ballroom is used less often. The next Friday night to keep your eyes open for is our Radio Theater Show, scheduled for February, but at this time, I don't have the exact date. Please check the Breeze Calendar insert so you can circle it in your appointment books. Our Radio Shows have regularly brought out our residents for an enjoyable evening and I'm positive that the selections chosen for our next one will continue to keep you extremely happy with our programming. I hope to see more and more of you attend. I doubt we will disappoint your expectations. Next is the much anticipated Murder Mystery Dinner Theater in March. This performance is a "not to be missed" event. The title is The Anniversary and for some of you, it may bring back some memories from 2 years ago. What do I mean? I'm not saying anything else, except you will most assuredly enjoy it. The cast has just started rehearsals twice a week (in early Jan) to get ready to give everyone the performance of our lives. So, as soon as you see tickets go on sale, my recommendation… Don't wait! Buy your tickets ASAP! There will be two performances offered, Friday or Saturday for your convenience. That's it for now… but there is a lot more coming. ~ Teri Meyers-Kelman Classical Music Club We are classical music lovers with an interest in sharing our love, knowledge, and interest in classical music.
