32 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | AUGUST 2014 | CLUBS & GROUPS During our study of 1 Corinthians 13:1-7 (the importance and definition of love according to the Bible), we first discussed patience, a character attribute most followers of the Bible struggle with at one time or another. Many of the club members shared their experiences and/or struggles with this topic, yet the Bible references themselves clarified our understanding. As we continued with the composite of this scriptural cite, we discussed kindness, envy, arrogance, etc. The discussions are always profoundly insightful and compassionate, as we help each other in our individual daily walk. Any of you women residents who are interested in learning what the Bible says about your struggles, victories, challenges, etc., please come join this amazing group of women. This is a non-denominational study, and all women are welcome! ~ Eileen Gilbert-Antoine "Believe:" Women's Bible Study I hope everyone had a great 4th of July. I celebrated with some of my neighbors and AACC members. They provided a scrumptious meal, fun, and delightful conversations. A heartfelt thank you to Vera James and Dorothy Samuels. Oh, did I mention that Clauzella Saucer made her famous peach cobbler? It was feet-stomping good. A group of us also attended the Hawaiian Luau sponsored by our own Social Committee. The event was most enjoyable. The food was delicious and the entertainment made you feel your feet were planted firmly on Hawaiian soil. If you missed this event you missed a fun filled evening. I hope this event becomes an annual event for all of us to enjoy (hint, hint Social Committee). Save the Date: Saturday, Dec. 13 for the 3rd Annual AACC Christmas Gala. The Christmas committee is furiously working to make it the event of the year. We really would love for all of our Four Seasons Beaumont Community to attend. It will be the perfect kickoff for the holidays. More information to come. I heard a rumor that a spectacular event is being planned for February, 2015. You will have to read this article next month to find out… Are you curious? We wish you the best, fun-filled summer with family and friends, best ever! As always, we encourage you to become a part of our group. We are striving to become viable to you and our community. If you would like to be a part of a group on the move, come and join us.
