13 | Four Seasons Hemet Herald | August 2014 | Facilities Committee The Facilities Committee is on the move to improve the quality of life in Four Seasons of Hemet: Projects include: • Eight additional solar lights along World Cup Blvd. were recently proposed to the board. The committee recommended this item be included on the Capital project list for completion in 2015. • The fencing project in the Southwest corner of the association complex has been enthusiastically received by the residents in that area. We are working diligently to finalize a completion date for this project. • Refurbishment of the horseshoe pits is in process. If you are interested in this activity, a sign-up sheet is available at the Lodge Front Desk. • Re-beautification of the circle in front of the Lodge is underway. The recent closure to traffic was due to installation of water and electricity lines for a new fountain to be installed in the circle. • Bocce ball court refurbishment has been approved by the board and surfacing material has been received. The ongoing upgrade work should be completed in early July. • The homeowner's request for additional box fans in the Ballroom was presented to the committee. After discussion, the request was rejected due to cost. It was recommended that the available portable fans be employed instead. • The proposed Veteran's Appreciation Area project continues to move forward. We are still in the stage of gathering information and researching options. • The installation of a speed bump at the Four Seasons Blvd. exit for protection of the existing spike system was recommended and approved by the board for a 60 day trial period. The manufacturers recommended speed limit is five MPH. This speed limit is often ignored by residents resulting in the necessity of replacing broken spikes.
