Barbecue dinner will be available on the veranda for a nominal fee. Come on down, grab a hot dog and beverage, watch the action, and cheer on your favorite. If you noticed some new equipment on the courts, say thanks to Bob Shibata for the donation. Also, try out the new backboard return partner at the north courts. When you can't find someone to hit with, the silent partner is always there. Best times for use will be 10 am to 5 pm. Remember to clean up after yourself by retrieving any accidental balls over the fence. Mark your calendar for our quarterly club meeting on Sept 13. This will be at the North Clubhouse starting at 5:30 pm. There will be a brief business meeting followed by potluck dinner. Anyone looking for some playing time don't forget that Monday and Wednesday are women's days, and Tuesday and Thursday are men's days. Men can find a sign up sheet on the bulletin board by Court #1. If you are 3.5 or better or 3.0 looking to improve your game by playing up, sing up and come on down. We play three sets and start at 7:30 pm. Starting Wed., Sept. 10, there will be a similar group for women. Look for the sign up sheet at the courts or call Peggy Huetten at 541-948-5348 for more information. Have friends in town looking for some playing time? Remember that guests must be accompanied by a resident. Call Dave Huetten at 541-948-5348 and he'll play matchmaker.
