This put the Association over budget by $38,000. Due to this variance, the cumulative annual surplus is $32,464.07. A few brief comments on the August financials: • Restaurant & Lounge missed their budget this month by roughly $6,000. Sales were up, however the minimum wage increase continues to drive salaries over budget. • Golf missed their budget this month by roughly $20,000; this was largely due to less than anticipated revenue and multiple repair and maintenance issues being addressed. • The overall operation missed the mark this month for a variety of reasons; continued tree maintenance, landscape improvements, repairs and maintenance, repair work at the North Clubhouse spa, and repair work to sidewalks throughout the community. • There were 14 homes that closed escrow in August (105 year to date). • The August Delinquency Report shows continued positive momentum as the overall delinquency rate is now 0.96 percent, as compared to 1.20 percent last month.
