CLUBS & GROUPS | FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | OCTOBER 2014 33 Happy October, Four Seasoners! This month, we are happy to announce that once again, we will have a free Friday night Radio Show on Oct. 10 at 6 pm in the Lodge Ballroom. Bring or buy a yummy dinner at Smitty's Bistro along with your drink of choice. There will be two shows, "The Lone Ranger" and "My Favorite Husband." We are beyond pleased by the number of people who came out to audition. You will see and hear several new faces and voices along with some of your regular favorites among the casts of the shows. We urge more of you to get involved in our performances and club activities. We have so much fun and are a great bunch of young-minded seniors. A major "Thank You" to everyone who came out to see our "Laugh Out Loud" show last month. It was a great turn out. We hope you enjoyed your trip back to the 60s as much as we enjoyed putting the show on. If you would like more entertainment like this, please let us know. If you have other suggestions, we are interested in hearing from you. We are currently putting our 2015 Calendar of Events together, so your ideas would be appreciated… NOW! Sorry to say, but we don't have anything scheduled in November; however, our Holiday show is going to be fantastic. The choir started their rehearsals in the beginning of September, giving them plenty of time to practice their new songs along with some holiday standards. Barbara Wasco, Choir Master, has chosen some new challenging music that is sure to impress you and your family. We've all been hearing how the choir has been improving with each performance, so I am extremely confident that we will sound phenomenal. If you're interested in joining the choir, regardless of the quality of your voice, please contact Barbara Wasco at bawasco@dc.rr.com We rehearse every Monday at 3 pm. Come on, join the fun! But, I'm not finished talking about the holiday show… there's more. In addition to the angelic tones of the choir, CAST Players (Catch A Star Theatrical Players) will perform, "Uh Oh, Here Comes Christmas." (More on this, next month!). A great way to end a great year, don't you agree? ~ Teri Meyers- Kelman Performing Arts Club
