| Four Seasons Hemet Herald | November 2014 | 6 Dear Four Seasons Residents, In last month's article, I spoke about the importance of being a good neighbor. Part of this month's article is related to that subject. It's about residents taking their pets to the mailbox. When taking your dog for a walk to get your mail, please know that in almost all locations, the mailbox pedestals are usually located adjacent to your fellow resident's home. The builder created an area for the mailbox to be placed and although the association owns and maintains the pedestal, the area around that pedestal belongs to your neighbor (except in certain portions of the Legends). We have received reports that residents are not picking up after their dogs and leaving the mess for the owner of the property to clean up. How many times have we talked about this? Please be a good neighbor and pick up after your pet. Persons observed and/or reported in violation of this rule can/will receive a "special invitation" to an executive board meeting where you will have an opportunity to explain your disregard of the rules to the board of directors. For those that follow the rules and are responsible pet owners, Thank you very much! Another item is related to having visitors. Please remember, it is your responsibility to "log in" your guests on the dwellingLIVE website, not the front gate staff. The attendant handles incoming guests, logs them in, answers the phone and attempts to greet the residents, and tries to do this all at the same time. If you do not use a computer, please write your guest list down and take it to the front gate at least 24 hours in advance of your guests' arrival whenever possible. We know sometimes you get notified of visitors or delivery persons at the last minute, but any time you can log them into dwellingLIVE will be appreciated by the attendant. By logging in your own guests, the front gate staff can focus on providing the quality of service that is expected. If you use a computer but are unsure how to use the program, one of the Lodge attendants can show you how to use dwellingLIVE. As we enter the fall season, the weather should be getting cooler. As I write this article, it's going to be 90 degrees today.☹ Let's hope we get some cool weather soon and much needed rain. Let's also take some time to think about the things we should be thankful for; our health, family, friends and a wonderful community to live in. May you and your family have a peaceful and blessed Thanksgiving Holiday, whether you have dinner at home, or enjoy dinner at the Lodge. A Message From Your General Manager By Rick Ruth, CCAM
