Yucaipa First Winner Debra Muscatelli (daughter accepting for her) 12 OUR YUCAIPA | NOVEMBER 2014 Dear Chamber Members, I have had the honor and privilege of serving as your President/ CEO of the Yucaipa Valley Chamber of Commerce for ten years. I have learned so much and have met so many wonderful people along the way. Even though I am a transplant from Long Beach, I have considered Yucaipa my hometown for 25 years. Both of my sons grew up and went to school here. This community holds so many precious memories for me, but now it is time for me to move on. I have exciting opportunities awaiting me in another state and while this was a very difficult decision for me, I know it's the right thing for me to do at this time in my life. Over the last decade I have been fortunate to have served for very supportive Chamber Boards and Chairpersons and together we have accomplished some truly great things. I am especially proud of our efforts in bringing financial stability to the Chamber, establishing a scholarship foundation and implementing a very successful Yucaipa Certified Farmers Market. My last day will be November 14. As I write this letter, the board of directors are actively searching for my replacement. I encourage you or someone you know who would make a great leader and keep the Chamber heading in a positive direction to apply for the Chamber CEO position. Please email a cover letter and resume to info@yucaipachamber. org. In the meantime, I will continue to work hard for the businesses in town until the day I leave. I hope to see most of you before I leave, but please feel free to stop by my office any time before November 14. I wish each and every one of you success, prosperity and happiness in all your endeavors. Sincerely, Pamela D. Emenger, President/CEO VOTe NOVeMBeR 4TH!
