Hikers Reach Summit
On Oct. 20, Four Seasons residents Barry Morgan, Jim
Peterson and John Nock covered 22 miles and nearly 5,000
feet of elevation gain on a hike to the summit of Mount San
Gorgonio, southern California's tallest mountain (11,500
ft). The hike was completed in ten and a half hours in
temperatures ranging from the high 30s to the mid 60s.
The three have been hiking together, along with several
other local hikers, for about two years. ~ Jim Peterson
