Our October potluck luncheon, hosted by Claudeen Diaz (see photo), was once again amazing. Since we never assign dishes, this bi-monthly event is always a very fun, super enthusiastic, and very literal potluck party. Also in October several members of our group participated in the billiards competition at the Hemet Oldlympics. Pete Antoine received a silver medal, and proudly displayed the medal as well as the Senator's Certificate of Merit (see photo). Although Dee Kelch didn't medal this year, she had a lot of fun participating and is committed to improving her game in order to be among the Four Seasons medal winners in 2015. Our December potluck will be a dinner, graciously hosted by group member Ron Erickson and his beautiful wife Judy. They are opening their lovely home to our fun-loving group, and it promises to be an evening to remember. (See Ron lining up his next shot during a group play in November in the photo to the right.) Since our group is bursting at the seams, we have several options at to how to continue in 2015, and ideas will be presented to the group before the new year begins. To all the amazing and delightful members of the Billiards for Fun Group: thank you all for participating each week, for bringing laughter and friendship with you, and for making our group the success it is today. ~ Eileen Gilbert-Antoine SpORTS & OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES | FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | DECEMBER 2014 43 Billiards for Fun Top left: Host Claudeen Diaz and table decorations for October potluck luncheon.
