13 | Four Seasons Hemet Herald | DECEMBER 2014 | Facilities Committee You may have noticed the new holiday lights on the exterior of the Lodge and front gate. Your Facilities Committee recommended to the board of directors that we subcontract the renting and installation of these lights so that our volunteers could spend their time on the wonderful interior decorations, and so we don't have to find space for storage of these lights. This has been a busy year for the Facilities Committee, with the pool resurface, street slurry, Lodge repainting and many other smaller projects. We are always looking for ways to maintain our wonderful community. The installation of solar panels for supplemental heating of the pool should be well underway by the time you read this. When this project is complete we should have substantial savings on our natural gas usage. We will not be able to completely replace the natural gas heaters, but the usage should go way down. Our committee is continually inspecting the common areas of the community, but we have only so many eyes. If you notice any items that need repair or replacement, be sure and fill out the communication form at the front desk so that we can take quick action to fix any items that are not up to our standards.
