Memoir Writing Class & Desserts TGIF TGIF is one of our longest running institutions of Four Seasons — good friends, good food, good times! Many have never given TGIF a look. Please come try one out and meet some new friends. TGIF is on the first and third Friday of each month. Each year a team of four to six couples volunteer to set up and clean up. We are now seeking three or more couples and singles to join us and help manage TGIF in 2015. Linda and I have met some of our best friends at TGIF and added a lot of great food to our caloric intake. You have never tasted a better pie than those made by Marilyn Fields. When the guitar and karaoke clubs play, the attendance surges. There are many spectacular players and singers. So many regulars contribute so much to each TGIF. Please come and give it a try. We look forward to seeing all of you at TGIF in 2015. There will be no TGIF on Jan. 2, due to the holidays. In 2015 we want to highlight a different club each month. On Jan. 16, we age going to highlight and recognize those who started TGIF so many years ago — the Golf Club. We are asking all the Golf Club members to join us at TGIF. Throughout the year we will highlight the different Four Seasons clubs and committees for what they do for our community. Keep your eye on the display board and the Hemet Herald for more information. VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: We need several people to volunteer to be on the TGIF committee for next year. Without volunteers, TGIF cannot happen! Please call Bob and Linda Morriss at (951) 325-8201 if you would like to volunteer. At this time we have five volunteers in place for 2015. We could use another five or six to allow for vacations and other days off. Join in the fun, good conversations and delicious home cooked food at the next TGIF. You can meet new people, mingle with old friends and enjoy good fellowship. Book Club All reader interested in great discussions, occasional guest speakers and movies, join us the third Monday of every month. Our book for January is Middle-Aged Crazy: Short Stories Of Midlife And Beyond by Lynne Spreen, one of our Four Seasons writers. We are looking forward to having her as our guest speaker.
