On Sat., Jan. 17, we can put on our "dressy" wear and listen to the melodic sounds of "Touch of Class" as they begin playing at 6 pm and will continue playing until 9:30 pm. Don't forget that there will be a free half hour dance lesson given at 5 pm for those who are interested. The menu sounds wonderful. We can choose from one of the following entrees: 1) Wine-glazed chicken with cauliflower and broccoli. This will be served with wild rice for $21. 2) Pork with an apricot sauce with cauliflower and broccoli and served with wild rice for $21. 3) Baked potato with vegetable fixings for $18. We will complete the meal with a delicious apple crisp. Sign ups for this dance will be held on Thurs., Jan 8 in the Main Clubhouse Multipurpose Room. Table selections will begin at 2:30 pm so come early enough to have your paperwork completed by the time the table selection begins. If you have signed up for this dance but find that you are unable to attend, please contact Carol (845- 5962) before 3 pm on the day of the dance. She will assist you in getting your meal to take home to enjoy. To one and all… a very healthy and happy new year! Dinner Dance Club If you are reading this then congratulations on surviving another holiday season. But, before you get too complacent, here is our January activity schedule. The dance schedule is as follows: Fri., Jan. 9 - Country Western Dance Fri., Jan. 23 - Country Western Dance The Friday night Country Western Dances are in the Main Clubhouse Ballroom starting at 7 pm and lasting to about 9 pm. All evening long we do both line dances and couples dances. One of the features of our club that continues to make it popular is the fact that singles and couples are equally welcome at our dances. The Monday evening line dance classes continue to be very popular. We have intermediate line dance instructions on Mon., Jan. 5, 12, 19 and 26, from 7 to 8:30 pm in the South Clubhouse. Couples instructions will be on Tues., Jan. 13 and 27, at the South Clubhouse from 7 to 8 pm. Looking forward, we will be teaching basic waltz steps in February. Check Lifestyles for dates. Country Western Dance Looking forward to seeing new and renewing members at our first dance of the new year to be held on Thurs., Jan. 29, in the Main Clubhouse Ballroom; doors open at 5:30 pm, music starts at 6 pm. Sign ups are Wed., Jan. 21 from 12:30 to 2:30 pm in the Main Clubhouse Multipurpose Room. Table selection is at 12:45 pm. Dance price is $10 pp for members, $15 pp for guests. Checks only, please, made payable to BBDC. There will be bar service and hors d'oeuvre menus on the tables for purchase.
