Tennis Friends On Dec. 17, Chuck Sims was honored by his Wednesday night drill students, who bestowed the title "Tennis Zen Master" on him with the gift of a monogrammed tennis duffel bag. Chuck has volunteered MANY hours on Wednesday evenings for the past few years, assisting anyone desiring to improve their game. Skill drills begin at 6:59 pm, but Chuck is always there an hour early to give one-on-one instruction. After drills, another hour (or more) is spent in playing round robin matches, putting our lessons to the test. Everyone who attends has benefited from his talent and knowledge, improving our skills, strategy and enjoyment of the game. Thank you Chuck, from all of us! Meanwhile, tennis players at all levels play practically every day on our friendly courts. Mondays and Fridays, ladies start dropping in about 9 am. Also, we gather on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday mornings, at various times, but the early birds are there about 7:30 am. You can just drop in to any of these events or check with Tracy Trousset, Trish Egan, or Chuck Sims. Likewise, several of our members are familiar with tennis around the So Cal area so if you have questions let us know. Our phone numbers are in the Four Seasons Directory.. Happy 2015! As you start your new year, please let us suggest that a healthy lifestyle can make it an especially pleasant one. The Apples, Pears and Hourglasses Team is here to support your efforts. Please join us! We cover many areas of health concerns only one of which is weight loss. Our main focus is support for your efforts. We meet every Wednesday at 9 am in the Multipurpose Room. If you have any questions about our program, please call Dave or Karen Tuvim at (951) 599-4236.
