29 | Four Seasons Hemet Herald | February 2015 | Shuffleboard Thanks to all the players who made our Shuffleboard Club fun and challenging for this season and to the clubs scheduler. Sue Malarkey kept the club records and all the winning scores for the 10 week period and presented a great tournament playoff for the best teams for 2014. This is the off season for Shuffleboard so you will not see too much going on at the courts, however we did celebrate with a great brunch back in January and most of the players were there. You may see a sign-up for a one day event with a BBQ after the games later on this year. Keep a watch out for information in the next issue of the Herald. Chairperson,Ross Brunetto, 926-8295. Bocce As most of our players know, this time of year is Bocce Club off season so there is not too much to report on at this time. However, by popular request from our players they would like to have the Bocce Scramble game held in March again this year. At our Jan. 25 Bocce Banquet this will be a subject to inform players how to sign up for this 4 week only game schedule. Teams are made up of 2 person teams and the entire bocce court is played with 2 players on each side of the court. If you think you would like to try and play this totally different yet common form of Bocce, look for the Bocce Club Scramble sign up book at the Lodge. Sign up will begin in February and depending on the response will determine if we will have enough teams to have tournaments. We have planned Thursdays as the official Bocce Scramble game day and will post the time later on the signup sheets. This is an opportunity for folks who have not played Bocce to try out and decide if you might be interested in joining our regular Bocce Club Season in September.
