Saturday Morning Golf We have tournaments for everyone, plus closest to the pin for both men and women and trophies at year-end to club champions with the best gross score. We play weekly on Tuesday mornings with mixed play, fun scrambles and a monthly tournament. In addition, we participate with other clubs for 18-hole tournaments and "away games" a few times during the year. During the winter (October through June) we meet at 8:30 am with a tee time of 9 am. Couples Golf Lady Niners Here's what we're about! Tournaments are usually held every Thursday. First week of the month is Pick Your Own Foursome scramble. The tournament chairman will make up the foursomes for other play days,usually one player from each flight. Once a month a general meeting is held when members are informed of results of board meetings, upcoming social events and new members introduced. We are a fun group, always striving to improve our golf score and interact with our fellow Golf Niners friends. Women's Golf Ladies Skateboard Interest Group 2015 is certainly going to be an exciting year for the Sun Lakes Women's Golf Club. In addition to the eight major tournaments planned, the club also offers the opportunity to play in a variety of fun weekly golf games. These games are not only challenging, but also give players the chance to play with many different club members throughout the year and have a good time while doing so. If you are looking for an enjoyable challenge on our championship course and the camaraderie of many golf "sisters" join us in the S.L.W.G.C. We play Thursday mornings and the first Saturday of the month. Tournaments are flighted and a $65 membership fee includes a W.S.C.G.A. sanctioned handicap. Plans are underway to build a new skate park in Sun Lakes. Locations being considered are in the lawn near the Veranda or on the North Side putting green. There are dozens of proficient female skaters in Sun Lakes and we want to get together to practice our ollies and kick flips at the skate park in Banning while we wait for completion of our own Sun Lakes skate park.
