It is a time for each of us to be thinking about our loved ones while searching for that perfect Valentine's Day gift. It is also the month when many of our great presidents celebrate their birthday. A great way to celebrate these occasions is to stop by your favorite library and visit the romance section for some love and affection, and also visit the North Clubhouse Library and browse through the non- fiction section located there in search of some of our president's biographies. This is a special time to visit your library and enjoy both the spirit of love and romance and the special lives of our presidents. We would like to recruit some additional new members for the 2015-2016 calendar years. If you would like to find out more about what it's like to be a member, please complete the Sun Lakes Country Club Volunteer Interest Form. Blank forms can be obtained at the reception desk located inside the entrance to the Main Clubhouse. Please join us and help keep the libraries a great place to find your favorite book. The libraries also need new volunteers. The volunteers are a group of Sun Lakers who donate their time to keep our three libraries ready for you. If you would like to be a part of this volunteer group, please contact Jill Falat at 797-3263 or Lorene Sowash at 769-9999 and ask "How can I become a library volunteer?" If you have any extra books that you would like to donate to the library, please drop them off at one of the wooden collection boxes located in each of the libraries. If you have any questions, contact Russ Anderson at 845-9414. Due to limited shelf space, books being donated should be published in the year 2005 or later. As we begin the new year, remember your resolution to read more books and challenge yourselves to become a more prolific reader. Hope to see you browsing the book shelves throughout the New Year!
