Dinner Dance Club members have the opportunity to go to a "formal" event on Sat., Feb. 21. Since this is a special evening, there will not be a dance lesson. However, the doors to the Ballroom will open at 5:30 pm giving everyone a chance to come and socialize with friends and neighbors before dinner. Music will begin at 6 pm and continue until 9:30 pm for your listening and dancing pleasure. The waiters will begin serving the dinner around 6:30 pm. The menu sounds great… Starting with rolls and a dinner salad, the following entrees will be served: (1) Chicken Roulade with garlic mashed potatoes and green beans for $22; (2) Flat-iron steak marinated in pineapple and soy sauce, served with garlic mashed potatoes and green beans for $23; (3) The vegetarian choice is a spinach/mushroom manicotti topped with béchamel sauce/ parsley garnish and a side of green beans for $19. The dessert will be a chocolate and raspberry cake. Sign ups for this dance are Thurs., Feb. 12 in the Main Clubhouse Multipurpose Room. Table selections will begin at 2:30 pm so come early enough to have all paper work completed before 2:30 pm. If you sign up for the dance but find that you are unable to attend, please call Carol at 845-5962 before 3 pm on the day of the dance. She will see that you will be able to pick up your meal to enjoy it at home. Happy Valentine's Day! Dinner Dance Club It's February, and I think we're all starting to look forward to the end of the cold and wet weather. The Country Western Dance Club tries to get through the winter by keeping active with our dances and dance instruction. Curious about what we do? Feel free to come and monitor any of our events. Country Western Dances will be on Fri., Feb. 13 and 20. Note that these are on the second and third Fridays this month. For the Friday the 13th dance we are planning a special treat. Friday dances are in the Main Clubhouse Ballroom from 7 to 9 pm. At our Fri., March 13 dance, we will have Mike Novak back as our guest DJ and dance instructor. Mark your calendars and come for an entertaining evening. Line dance instructions will be held on Mon., Feb. 2, 9, 16 and 23, from 7 to 8:30 pm at the South Clubhouse. We currently are learning intermediate level dances. Couples dance instruction will be at the South Clubhouse on Tues., Feb. 10 and 24, from 7 to 8 pm.
