March is going to be an exciting month with the Indian Wells tennis starting March 9. We will have a sign up list to go to a local restaurant for breakfast and go to the Garden as a group. This will help find like-minded people to enjoy the action. Watch for more information and sign-up sheets at the South Clubhouse. Our annual St. Patrick's Day party on March 18, $7.50 for members and $10 for guest. It will be a humdinger! Don't forget the March 7 tennis mixer at 9 am. WOW! Tennis is alive and well at Sun Lakes. Just take the time to get involved at whatever level you feel comfortable. Speaking of tennis levels, I have put a roster at the South Clubhouse in the hopes that players would self rate themselves in an effort to make our tournaments more fun for all. "A" would be for experienced competitive players wanting to test their abilities to the limits. "B" would be for experienced players that still play well but would rather play for the social aspect of the game. "C" would be for the new players in our sport, or the players that want to mentor as their ability and/or health changes. "D" would be for social non playing members that do so much to make our club fun and cheer the action, on and off court. The levels need not stay constant though the years. In fact they should change with health, age and desire. My hope is that we can better serve our members and continue to grow our club and sport at Sun Lakes. Warm weather is becoming the norm and tennis is the game to play for health and laughs. April will bring more opportunities to strut your stuff. So stay fit, have fun and we will see you at the courts. 38 | SUN LAKES LIFESTYLES | MARCH 2015 | HEALTH & SPORTS CLUBS Tennis Good exercise! A fun activity! Great people!
