40 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | MARCH 2015 Nestled in a 40 acre vineyard, Danza Del Sol Winery is located on the De Portola Wine Trail in the heart of Temecula Valley. Danza Del Sol Winery has developed a program of producing wines with a strong Mediterranean influence and prides itself on having something for everyone. Taste d' Vine Wine Club is pleased to host Danza Del Sol Winery at our March meeting on the third Thursday, March 19, at 6 pm in the Lodge Ballroom. Bring an appetizer such as bread or crackers and cheese, your own favorite bottle of wine if you wish, and a glass or two for tasting and sharing. Members $5, guests $10. ~ Gracy Luna Remember when we thought somebody special had to pump flammable gasoline for us? Remember when we needed the certified operator to run the elevator for us? Well, just as we now know we are capable of doing those things for ourselves, it shouldn't be a surprise that "even you" are capable of operating a two-way radio. To come to the Amateur Radio Club meeting one doesn't need to be a licensed radio operator or own a radio. All you need is some curiosity and willingness to meet a few new people here at Four Seasons. All are invited. At this time the club has about fifteen members, but we need more! Many of the membership are not licensed HAM operators. About half of the others only became licensed within the past two years, since they moved to Four Seasons or they retired. So, come on over to a meeting and see what is going on; you probably already know someone who is a member. The Amateur Radio Club meets in the Lodge at 10 am on the last Friday of each month. Hope to see some new faces there. ~ Rob Gardner, KB6ROB, Amateur Radio Club Taste d'Vine Amphitheater Penny McDonell, the chairman for the past six years, has done a masterful job of finding talent and organizing the details and personnel needed for a successful concert. She has passed the baton of chairman to Mark Lassen, and she remains a vital component of the committee. Mark is a new resident to our community and has stepped in with energy and enthusiasm. Once a month, May through September, concerts are held under the stars. It is a wonderful venue at which to listen to music under our summer evening skies, and gives everyone an opportunity to socialize with friends and neighbors prior to the opening musical notes. Our Four Seasons Amphitheater is located between the tennis and paddle ball courts and can accommodate about 125 people. The concert dates for the summer of 2015 are May 17, June 14, July 19, Aug. 16 and Sept. 20. So mark your calendar and we will see you at the concert. ~ Doris SanFilippo
