36 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | MARCH 2015 Calling all published writers, whether you have been paid or not, whether you are a member of our club or not! The Four Seasons Writers Club would love to hear about your successful project and learn how they might do something similar. If you want to schedule a meeting with us to describe your work, please email me at phil.bond.writer@gmail.com. At our February meeting we discussed how to approach the task of writing a whole book. Some of our members have already accomplished that, and others are working toward that goal. Our next meeting will be Tuesday, March 3, at 1:30 pm, in the Lodge Ballroom. We will have a presentation of a self-published non-fiction book, followed by discussion on how you can do something similar. Future meetings will have other themes, hopefully including presentations by someone who has been successful in those areas. We welcome all members, guests, and visitors to join us at our March meeting and at future meetings as well, always on the first Tuesday of each month. ~ Phil Bond Writers' Club Classical Music Club Computer Technology Interest Group We are classical music lovers with an interest in sharing our love, knowledge, and interest in classical music. We meet on the second Thursday of each month at 7 pm in the Conference Room. There we discuss current music performances. Most of the time is devoted to exploring a selection for the month. We welcome new members. Contact Steve Benoff at steve. benoff@verizon.net or (310) 413-4896. ~ Steve Benoff On Tuesday, March 10 at 10:30 am in Lodge Ballroom, Irve Sturner will give a presentation on basic digital camera images and how to print them successfully. He will also explain the fundamentals of Photoshop and its power with the camera. Len Tavernetti will talk about other photographing programs available and how they work. Admission is free and everyone is encouraged to bring your Laptop and questions. The February presentation by Joe Ligori gave an overview on computer security, viruses, malware, adware, spyware and the concept of "the cloud." Every month at 10:30 am, on the second Tuesday of the month in the Lodge Ballroom, there will a presentation, class or a special speaker, to inform and teach various subjects about your computer and computer technology. For current information sign up at the Lodge front desk and get your email address included on the group sign-up sheet. Also check the Four Seasons website. Big thanks to Howard Lyon, Irve Sturner Joe Ligori, Len Tavernetti and Cindy Graves for their support to make the Computer & Technology Group a reality. ~ Phil Jaffe
