29 | Four Seasons Hemet Herald | March 2015 | Bocce Another banquet celebration brought most of 2014 Bocce Teams together once again, and this time it was done in style. The teams enjoyed a dinner prepared by Francisco and his crew and it was excellent. The tables were done in style by our Banquet Committee, Margie Culton and her crew, they set the dinner tables in a marvelous attire with Bocce Balls as the centerpiece on each table. The winning teams were there to receive a great fanfare and to be recognized for their accomplishment, entertainment was also added to give the evening a better continuity, and everyone seemed to have a great time. Could not ask for a better evening and proudly standing in front of a camera to pose one last time are, 2nd place winners Tony and Marietta Ruppaner with team partners Fred and Claudette Gilbert. Our first place winners are John and Sandi O'Connor with team partners Dennis and Toni Harris pictured along with this article. Great job teams. Shuffleboard Shuffleboard is an outside activity that is beginning to interest many folks here in the community because for one thing it's outside, it's easy to learn, and you get to meet other folks also interested in playing shuffleboard. That's exactly what our 2014 champions did last season. And they got to play some of Four Seasons Best Players, and so they were recognized back in January with a Brunch and Awards Day to end the season. Usually we celebrate with a modest lunch but this time we did it with a Brunch and everyone there enjoyed it very much. I think we said this is a keeper for next season. After brunch we recognized the first and second place winners with a picture and some money to go celebrate some more. Please congratulate the players and give them some new competition by signing up for the 2015 season later on this year.
