Life Guide Bible Study
This year the group is studying "A Godly Woman
is…" Our February study of the Bible convinced us that
a Godly woman is beautiful. We learned that although
we were created by God in His image, and He made us
exactly how we are, He not only sees our outer beauty,
but He looks at our hearts for the inner beauty. As we
follow the teachings in the Bible, it validates that we all
can become beautiful women.
In March, our topic was "A Godly Woman Is…
Courageous." In order to understand a woman's true
courage or source of courage, we first began with an in-
depth look at fear (the opposite of courage). The Bible
cites 365 different admonitions that we neither have
fear nor be afraid — a very human condition usually
brought on by danger or anticipated danger. After the
group shared some fearful experiences in our lives,
and how we overcame that fear, our lessons naturally
evolved into the subject of courage. We studied several
biblical examples and stories of immense courage, and
had delightful discussions. So, as we live God's laws, not
only are we loving women (January), beautiful women
(February), but we are courageous women as well.
If you would like to join us in studying how to become
a Godly woman, we meet every Friday from 10:30
to 11:30 am in the first section of the Ballroom. We
welcome all women to this non-denominational study
