40 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | APRIL 2015 For our April meeting, Taste d'Vine Wine Club is pleased to present four delectable wines from the Napa Valley for you to taste. Napa Valley is considered one of the premier wine regions in the world. Wine production in the valley dates back to 1858; the climate, geography and geology of the region are conducive to growing quality wine grapes. Our meeting is the third Thursday of the month, April 16 at 6 pm in the Lodge Ballroom. Bring an appetizer such as bread or crackers and cheese, your own favorite bottle of wine if you wish, and a glass or two for tasting and sharing. Members $5, guests $10. ~ Gracy Luna From time to time we have given training classes on the usage of FRS (Family Radio Service) Radios. While we do not expect everyone to remember all the complexities of these radios, the most common two buttons folks have trouble with are setting the channel # and the PL tone. Below is a diagram on how to do this. Clip this out and keep with your radio and attend another FRS training class to practice. See our website: W6FSB.COM; Meetings at 10 am last Friday of the month. ~Jim Peterson, K6JWP, Dick Van Bree, W6RVB Amateur Radio Club Taste d'Vine If your New Year's resolution has failed to give you the results you want, you might want to come and try TOPS.
