If you have lost your form, we will have extra forms available. We would like to notify the community that we WILL NOT be conducting the transponder exchange on rainy days. The new Sirit Headlamp tags need to be applied to a dry surface, and we do not have the accommodations to make this happen. So, if it is raining on the day you were going to bring your vehicle in, please come on a different day. Management has developed a schedule for residents to be able to exchange their transponders for the new headlamp stickers. The exchange will be completed, by specified districts, at the Administration office parking lot, Monday through Friday from 8 am to 12 pm as indicated on the schedule below: Month Districts April 1 – 30 .. . .. . .. . .. . 10, 11, 12 May 1 – 29 . .. . .. . .. . .. . 13, 14, 15 (Offices closed May 25 for Memorial Day) June 1 – 30 . .. . .. . .. . .. . 16, 17, 18 July 1 – 31 . .. . .. . .. . .. . 19, 20, 21 Aug. 3 – 31 . .. . .. . .. . .. . 22, 23 *Note: For residents unavailable during this time, please call the administration office to schedule an appointment. To keep all residents of a district from arriving on the same day, we would propose to have the following schedule: Week #1 in each month: Last name A-F Week #2 in each month: Last name G-L Week #3 in each month: Last name M-R Week #4 in each month: Last name S-Z Please keep in mind that both the new and old vehicle access devices (transponders) will work on the new system. Residents that are not scheduled until later in the year will have no problem accessing the community. The old transponders will be deactivated on Dec. 31, 2015, so please ensure that you have switched your old device before that time. If, at any time, you have problems with the new or old transponder, please contact the administration receptionist. ATTENTION RV OWNERS: Sun Lakes staff would like to accommodate any RV owner, who has their RV parked in the onsite RV storage area, who are not able to bring their RV through the Transponder Exchange line. Staff will be on-site at the RV Storage Area on Fri., April 17, from 8:30 to 11:30 am. We are scheduling owners in increments of 10 minutes so that no one has to wait in a large line. Staff will meet each owner at the RV assigned spot to exchange the transponders. Please have your "Resident Information Form" completely filled out and ready to turn into staff. Please call Ann Kato at 769-6644 to schedule a time frame. We would like your name, RV spot number, contact phone number, and the time you would like to meet us on either one of the days listed above. VOLUNTEERS: We still need volunteers to help with the transponder exchange for the month of April. If you have availability during the week from 8 am to 12 pm we would love to have your help! Call Charlye Sessner at 769- 6648 to sign up. 2015 Transponder Exchange The EPAP resource Management Unit has scheduled a series of classes for residents who have volunteered, or are considering volunteering, to serve in their community Emergency Preparedness/ Mitigation Organization as a District Delegate/Alternate, EPAP Coordinator/Alternate or Zone Captain/Alternate. The training classes will be held from 1:30 to 2 pm on Mon, April 27, Tues., April 28 and Thurs., April 30, in the Main Clubhouse Multipurpose Room. The instruction will focus on position responsibility, handi-talki radio communications protocol, the use of records and reports and the management of the Sun Lakes Emergency Preparedness/Mitigation Plan (EPAP). The scheduled classes are as follows: District Delegates/Alternates and EPAP Coordinators/Alternates: Mon., April 27. Zone Captains/Alternates: Tues., April 28 and Thurs., April 30 (Attendance is required at only one of these scheduled classes). We will endeavor to limit class sizes to 20 for practical reasons, therefore it will be helpful if you will complete the form below and return it to the Main Clubhouse Receptionist no later than the Friday preceding the scheduled class you choose to attend. You will be notified, by telephone, of your registration confirmation.
