Yes, this is the time of the year D.D.C. members begin coming to the dances in their "dressy casual" attire. We will enjoy our Sat., May 23 dinner dance with the music of "Skyline Express." The evening will start at 5:30 pm with a free, half hour dance lesson with John & Rosa Gascoigne as they continue their instruction on the "Cha-Cha." Skyline Express will begin playing at 6 pm and continue until 9:30 pm. This means lots of dance time! The dinner will begin with a refreshing dinner salad with mandarin oranges and candied pecans. The meals for your entrée choice will be: 1) Asparagus chicken with rice and green beans, $20. 2) Lemon baked cod with rice and green beans, $21. 3) Spinach & mushroom manicotti with green beans, $19. The dessert will be a lemon brownie topped with raspberries and sauce. Sign up for this dance is in the Main Clubhouse Multipurpose Room on Thurs., May 14 at 2:30 pm. Come early to have all paperwork completed by the time of the table selections. If you signed up for the dance but find that you will not be able to make it, please call Carol at 845-5962 before 3 pm the day of the dance. She will help see that you get your meal to enjoy at home. Looking forward to seeing you all on the dance floor! Dinner Dance Club For the month of May our dances will be on Fri., May 8, and Fri., May 22. Dances are from 7 to 9 pm in the Main Clubhouse Ballroom. Yes, we know that May 22 is on Memorial Day weekend. If you will be in town please make it a point to come and enjoy the last dance of the season. To add a little incentive, the May 22 dance will be free. We are nearing the season end for line dance instruction this year. We start over again in August and September teaching very basic dances. So if you think you might be interested, check Lifestyles for dates and times and mark your calendar. We welcome everyone, singles and couples, so come and give it a try. There is intermediate line dance instruction on Mondays, May 4 and 11, 7 to 8:30 pm in the South Clubhouse. On Mon., May 18 we will have our traditional graduation ceremony to honor all the students that have persevered throughout the year. There will be no couples instructions this month. Country Western Dance Join DJ Blast, Barb and Rosie, on May 15 from 5:30 to 9:30 pm in the Main Clubhouse and May 29 from 5:30 to 9:30 pm in the South Clubhouse. Help us make this the best it can be. We have your songs and your keys. Come on out and meet your neighbors,let your hair down and have some fun… plus it's free!
