The show began with the Yucaipa High School ROTC color guard presenting the colors, continued with a fly-over of vintage military airplanes and then a well-attended Yucaipa Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting. It was as if Yucaipians had been waiting all winter to finally come out and visit with friends. With over 250 amazing cars on display there were still more folks in attendance than cars. The eateries in the center, including Jojo's Grill a Dog and Yogurtland were hopping with families enjoying the evening and the show. The car show continued with raffles, kid's games and music by Dreamweaver DJ Dave. Past Pleasures Car Club holds its car shows the first Friday of every month from 6 to 9 pm with monthly themes and lots of family friendly activities. The money raised at the car club events is donated to local charities. The next car show will be Fri., May 1 with a 1950s dress up theme. For more information and to contact the car club visit www. PastPleasuresCarClub.com. The Yucaipa High School ROTC presented the colors. Past Pleasures Car Club president George Sardeson cuts the ribbon with Mayor Denise Hoyt looking on, Councilmen Dick Riddell and David Avila, along with Representatives David Matza and Rosilicie Bogh, Chamber President/CEO Amy Minjares, Board of Director Lynette Alvarado, Cheryl Benton, Jo-Ann Forsyth and chamber ambassadors. David Matza, Senator Mike Morrell's field representative, presents car club president George Sardeson and the Past Pleasures Car Club with a resolution congratulating them on many years of community service.
