97th annual Cherry Festival sChedule, June 4-7 Grand Marshall Kellee Stewart Thurs., June 4: Cherry Festival carnival/grounds from 5 pm to 10 pm. Doll Face, an all girl rock band will perform at 5 pm followed by The Grass Roots, an American rock band at 8 pm at Stewart Park. Fri., June 5: Cherry Festival/grounds from 5 pm to 10 pm. The Basix, a cover/dance/top 40 band will perform at 6 pm followed by The Superfreaks who play the best hits of the 70s and 80s at 8 pm at Stewart Park. Sat., June 6: Pancake breakfast at City Hall from 6 am to 10 am. Cherry Festival Parade will begin at 10:30 am on Beaumont Ave. The Cherry Festival carnival/grounds will be open from noon to midnight. Starting at noon local schools and bands will perform in concert. The BOE band Best of Everything who expertly covers all genres of music will play at 3 pm. Brenton Wood sings soul, R&B, and pop will perform at 6 pm followed by SMASHMOUTH, an American rock band at 9 pm at Stewart Park. Sun., June 7: Cherry Festival carnival/grounds from noon to 9 pm. The Kraze, who plays a musical variety of R&B, funk, rock, jazz, reggae, and latin will begin at noon followed by The Rumble Kings, a rockabilly, New Orleans rock and roll, and R&B band at 2 pm. WAR who plays funk, rock, Latin, reggae, jazz, and R&B mixed together will be the last band playing at 5 pm. Grand Marshall Kellee Stewart will be the celebrity grand marshall for the 2015 Cherry Festival parade on Sat., June 6 beginning at 10:30 am. Stewart was born on April 15, 1976 in Norristown, Pennsylvania. She is an actress and has appeared in Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and Living with Fran as well as the 2005 movie Guess Who alongside best friend Zoe Saldana. From 2006 to 2010 Stewart played Stephanie Lane on the TBS sitcom My Boys. In film, she appeared in Hot Tub Time Machine (2010). She has starred in several comedy pilots, like ABC's Middle Age Rage in 2013, and was cast in recurring role on Lifetime series Witches of East End. Also in 2013, Stewart was cast as series regular in Lifetime drama pilot HR opposite Alicia Silverstone. In 2014, she was cast in another ABC pilot, Damaged Goods. She is also a supporter and fundraiser for Childhelp.
