Waste Management, Inc. provides wheeled carts for
collection of your trash, recyclables and green waste. They
are picked up weekly, on Tuesday morning. The gray recycling
container holds newspapers, cardboard, mixed paper, junk
mail, cereal boxes, magazines, phone books, aluminum cans,
other metal cans, plastic bottles, glass and plastic food and
beverage containers. Here's a listing of recyclable items:
• Paper: Office paper, copy paper, junk mail, telephone
books, catalogs computer paper, envelopes, brochures
crayon drawings, wrapping paper, etc.
• Cardboard: Cardboard boxes, cereal boxes, tissue boxes,
food boxes, milk cartons, juice boxes, soda/beer cartons,
egg paper cartons, paper bags, gift boxes, etc.
• Glass: Juice bottles, beer bottles, wine bottles, liquor
bottles, salad dressing bottles, condiment jars, assorted
food jars, jam and jelly jars, baby food jars, etc.
• Plastic: plastic water bottles, plastic soda bottles, plastic
milk jugs, food bottles, condiment bottles, vegetable oil
bottles, plastic laundry jugs, shampoo bottles, lotion
bottles, etc.
• Metal: Aluminum soda cans, aluminum beer cans, fruit
cans, vegetable cans, juice cans, soup cans, sauce cans,
assorted food cans, pet food cans, metal hangers, etc.
