40 | sun lakes lIfestyles | July 2015 | frIends we wIll mIss robert (bob) Cadmus passed away peacefully in the arms of our lord at 79 on May 31, 2015. He was born in Patterson, N.J. He had some college but was hired by Nabisco Co. in Chicago, Ill. He resided there until the company transferred him to California. He lived in Buena Park for years. He then accepted a job as Vice President of Sales for the 11 western states. This company hauled explosives for the government. He was in the Navy for four years where he was stationed at the Pentagon. In 1976 he met his present wife Jeannette at a church singles group. They were married in 1978. They moved to Sun Lakes Country Club where he was District Delegate for years. He also loved his golf where he was proud of a hole in one. Bob and Jeannette loved RVing and cruising for years. He also was active on the CHP as a senior volunteer. Bob and Jeannette were members of Immanuel Baptist Church in Highland. He was very active there serving as usher for many years until his health started to fail. Due to his health, he moved into The Lakes where he resided for 11 months. He was moved to Cherry Valley Healthcare where he was from May 1 to May 31. Bob will be greatly missed by his wife Jeannette, daughters Linda and Debra. He is also survived by his son- in-law (Allen), grandchildren, Gerad, Austen, Kim, Jaimee, Megan (Steve), stepdaughters Carlene (Randy), stepsons Dan, Kevin (Susie), step-grandchildren Cameron, Chelssey, Courtney, Chad and Katelyn and six great-grandchildren. John G. Fravor passed away suddenly at home March 30, 2015. He was born February 22, 1936 in Toledo, Ohio where he spent most of his life. He served four years in the U.S. Navy. After meeting his wife of 55 years, Anne, in 1957, they were married in 1959. He followed in his father's footsteps and joined the Toledo Fire Department in 1961, serving 27 years, retiring in 1988 as a Captain. He was a Past Master of his Masonic Lodge and a member of Zenobia Shrine in Toledo. John was an avid softball player, bowler, golfer and high school football referee. He also umpired little league baseball. John was an Enrolled Agent with IRS and had his own tax business for over 50 years, still doing so until the day he died. He and Anne retired to Sun Lakes in 1996 to play more golf and be closer to their children and four grandchildren. After moving here, he bowled for three years and loved playing golf, going to socials and making friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother. Besides his wife, Anne, he is survived by his daughter, Kristen Johnson (Scott) of Murrieta, CA, son, David Fravor (Sherrie) of Spring, TX; three granddaughters, Kayla Johnson, Kara Rowland, and Lauren Fravor; and grandson, Nathan Fravor.
