25 | Four Seasons Hemet Herald | August 2015 | It's hot outside! But it's cool in the Ballroom. Are you having trouble finding exercise that will get you out of the heat? Join us in the cool ballroom for an hour of low impact aerobics. The class consists of seven different Leslie Sansone "Walk Fit" DVDs. The easy-to-follow, low impact aerobic routines are set to music with varied tempo. No memorization of routines is required. Three of the DVDs incorporate resistance bands (bands and weights optional). New members are always welcome. You can tailor the class to your own needs and schedule. The full one hour class is a four mile walk, but you can join us for as much as will work for you. You can leave early or arrive later to shorten your walk. If you can only be there one or two days a week, that's okay too. We meet in the Lodge Ballroom for the full hour on Mon., Wed. and Fri. Both men and women are welcome. Classes are free! For more information contact: Karen Tuvim (951) 599-4236 or Kay Masonbrink (951) 223-3047. Tues. and Thurs. at 10:30 am in Ballroom, $4/person/session. We discuss varied subjects in the APHG meetings. The one that seems to be of recurring interest is "the struggle with weight control." We do not have a magic pill, as we have said before. Our answer to this subject is support, suggestions and individual choices. We are here for those who will "take charge" and make a conscious decision to "get healthy" by taking off unwanted pounds. The Apples, Pears and Hourglasses program is a support format. Our club is designed to help individuals who would like to establish better eating habits and health practices – we call it "Lifestyle Changes." We meet on Wednesdays at 9 am in the Multipurpose Room. Come join us! If you have questions regarding our program, please call Dave and Karen Tuvim at 599-4236. Apples, Pears & Hourglasses As many of you know, there is a very special group of ladies here in the community who have bonded together to form the WIT Team. This group of ladies all share a common bond, the loss of the love of their life. This group of ladies meets the first Monday of every month in the Bistro at 5 pm for dinner and lively conversation. After dinner, for those that are interested, we adjourn to the Crafts Room for a couple of games of "nickels," a fun, easy and fast moving game with a jackpot of nickels! This is your invitation to come join us and be a part of the WIT Team here at Four Seasons!
