| Four Seasons Hemet Herald | August 2015 | 26 Bocce Does Bocce have a past? Yes it does, the Bocce club will start their 10th year as an outdoor club this September. Sign up for the Bocce club will be on Sun., Aug. 16 at 2 pm in the Ballroom. Remember at least one person from your team should be there to sign up although most teams come together to scan their competition for the new season. Also we have players who do not have a full team that need to buddy up with part of a new team or players who have only one or two players willing to play and need to fill a full team with new players. Everyone will have a chance to play and forming new teams is just part of the fun for the Bocce folks. If you have never played remember this is a four team effort and most players share their techniques and skill to players who need help. With this article are teams from previous years that have won the Championship Game at the end of their season. Reflecting back a few years you will recognize some of our players. The Lehman Family of Fun team won both 2007 and then again in 2012 in the spring league. Toby's Gang won their Championship in 2012 and then again in 2014. And the Bocce Boomers won their Championship Game in 2013. Hope you find it interesting looking back at some of these photos. Mark your calendars because the sign up will be here soon enough. Shuffleboard These Shuffleboard players want you. They are ready for another season, and they need you to challenge them. They look nice, but be careful because they have Shuffleboard fever. Sign up will be immediately following the Bocce sign up at around 3:30 pm on Sun., Aug. 16 in the Lodge Ballroom. The air conditioner will be on so come on in and cool off. See you there.
