Ballroom & Social Dance Our first free sock hop was a success. Everyone seemed to have a great time. The dances varied from country, popular and ballroom to rock and roll. The atmosphere was simply informal and fun. Most of the food was ordered from Smitty's, and the ribs were outstanding! We will see if we can find another date in about three months. Dancing is physical exercise, but it also challenges your mind. Learning new steps or dances requires concentration and for some is really hard work. The good thing about line dancing is that once you know the basic steps, you find they are in many of the new dances, making it easier to learn the next dance. In our beginning class, time is taken to explain each step. If you have been thinking about joining, come watch to see how I teach and if it might be a good match for you. Join us! Class is every Tuesday in the Ballroom. Beginners, 3 to 3:45 pm and advanced, 3:45 to 4:30 pm. ~ Martha Franck 30 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | SEPTEMBER 2015 Do you enjoy dancing?
