FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | SEPTEMBER 2015 43
The Paddle Tennis Club (PTC) goes out to lunch every
second Tuesday of the month to one of the local ethnic cuisines
restaurants. It's coordinated by Alan Chan. In July some of us
went to the Punjab Palace in Riverside and indulged on delicious
Indian food. The buffet style lunch was delicious, spicy and the
cost was very reasonable. Later in the month the PTC joined
the Ping Pong Club (over 20 of us) and car-pooled to Cabazon
to celebrate Ruby's 93rd birthday at Ruby's Diner with a $1.93
beef burger combo. Some of us had to top it off with a large
milk shake. Everyone including our outside guests and some
spouses had a great time. Apparently some of our members
knew about the birthday celebration from past experience and
gave us the heads up.
Our club keeps growing in number and members are truly
enjoying the game and the socialization. In fact, some of the
PTC members have a standing invitation to play paddle at Sun
Lakes on the days the game is not played here at Four Seasons.
Congratulations to "the dream girls" (Diana and Shaw) for
beating "the boys" (Alan and Richard) in three paddle games
in a row.
Like always we extend invitation to those who want to come
and play paddle with us. The PTC open play time is Mondays,
Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays 6 to 9 pm and Friday and
Sunday 8:30 to 10:30 am. If you have question please call Diana
Ali at (951) 769 5012. ~ Hailu Kinde
